It was embarrassing and uncomfortable, and I didn't know how to make it "go away". In an effort to calm my skin down, I tried changing cleansers and moisturizers, but it just seemed to get worse. I knew at that point I needed professional help, so I made an appointment with a dermatologist, who told me I had mild-to-moderate Rosacea. At last I knew what was going on with my skin, but I also knew I needed to change the way I cared for it.
I needed gentle face washing products that were mild on my newly diagnosed Rosacea / sensitive skin and wouldn't cause further redness and irritation. I searched specifically for a washcloth that was soft enough for my sensitive skin, since even washing as gently as I could with regular washcloths just made my skin more red and irritated.
Disappointed in products that claimed to be for sensitive skin, but ended up being too harsh for my face, I decided to take
matters into my own hands.
As I focused on all things soft, soothing and gentle, I immediately thought of babies. What do we use on a baby's delicate skin? Certainly not scratchy old washcloths. It would have to be something mild, soft and soothing for such precious, tender skin.
With the fairest of all skin in mind, the first Fairface™ Washcloth was born. The soothing, soft flannel calmed my skin down and stopped the vicious cycle of redness and irritation, and I never looked back.
Since creating Fairface™ Washcloths, my skin has never looked or felt better. With our soft, soothing washcloths, I don't have to worry about irritating my sensitive skin with harsh textures. It is the only face cloth I use on my sensitive skin and I made it my mission to share these calming face cloths with others who suffer from sensitive skin conditions.
